Saffron and orris over a slow base of oud. Warm, dry and a little dark.
The first spray is bright and peppery: saffron threads, bergamot and a pinch of pink pepper. Within fifteen minutes the citrus has gone and the orris takes over, soft and a little powdery, with rose underneath.
By evening only the base is left. Oud, labdanum and vetiver sit close to the skin and are still there the next morning.
What changes, and when
We macerate each batch for six weeks before chilling and filtering it, so the three layers settle into one perfume.
